Is Done hair colour 'natural'?
Done is one of the most natural permanent hair colours available. It’s made without ammonia, PPD, parabens, resorcinol, phthalates, gluten, SLS or titanium dioxide, making it gentle on your hair and scalp. We’ve packed it with natural active ingredients — like soothing aloe vera, antioxidant-rich vitamin E, nourishing macadamia, jojoba, argan and sweet almond oils, plus seaweed extract and rosemary leaf oil. We call is Conscious Colour (TM).
Can I use Done if I already have coloured hair, balayage, or lighter ends?
Yep! The Ultimate Root Retouch Kit is made for regrowth — it blends seamlessly with previously coloured hair and won’t interfere with your balayage or lighter ends. Are your products vegan?
Our products are proudly vegan and cruelty-free. Kind to your hair, your scalp and the planet.
Do your products contain ammonia and PPD?
Nope. Absolutely not. We’ve left out ammonia, PPD and a long list of other ingredients whose names are as hard to say as they are to spell (parabens, phthalates, resorcinol and titanium dioxide). After all, you deserve colour without compromise.
Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?
While we always recommend doing a patch test before use, all Done hair colour is Conscious Colour™. No matter the shade, it's been formulated using hair heroes Aloe Vera, Macadamia Oil & Vitamin E and is free from Ammonia, PPD, Parabens, Resorcinol, Phthalates, Gluten, SLS and Titanium Dioxide. So it’s gentle on your skin and your hair.
Are your products safe to use during pregnancy?
Many people do colour their hair when pregnant or breastfeeding but we always recommend checking with your care team first if you're concerned. As always, it is very important to carry out an Allergy Test 48 hours before colouring your hair.
Do I need to perform an allergy test before using your products?
Yes, always. Even if you’ve coloured your hair before. This is because allergies develop over repeated exposure — so what was cool once isn't always. Don't be a cowboy. Do a quick patch test 48 hours before colouring. Better safe than sorry!

Do you offer a subscription?
We sure do. Set it and forget it by joining our Ride or Dye club. Get your root touch-up (and a little gift!) delivered to your door, on your schedule.
Can I change, pause or cancel my subscription?
Totally. Life happens. Hit change, pause or cancel whenever you like — simply head to your account dashboard to update your details. You’re in total control.
What are your shipping costs and delivery times?
We work with the team at Sendle to provide fast, trackable delivery. Shipping costs $10 (free on orders over $100) and you can expect your order to arrive within 2–5 business days.
Do you offer international shipping?
Right now, Done is delivering to Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. But stay tuned! We’re working on going global.

What is your refunds & returns policy?
If your order arrives and items are faulty, damaged, missing or incorrect, please email us at hello@donehair.co. Be sure to include your order number, along with a photo and description of your issue. A member of our team will respond ASAP to arrange an immediate replacement.
